About Me
From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for capturing moments through a lens. I started out with 35mm film cameras — for those who remember them — and would go through rolls of film experimenting with light, people, and places. During my teenage years, I upgraded to my first digital camera, which at the time felt like the ultimate piece of technology.
It wasn’t until college, when a friend shared some of his photography from around the country, that my passion for photography truly reignited. Soon after, I purchased my first DSLR camera — the start of a hobby that would grow into a thriving business.
In 2018, I officially launched Ben Palmer Media Productions after friends and family encouraged me to turn my passion into something more. What began as a hobby has since developed into a professional service, covering a wide range of photography and videography work. I’ve had the privilege of capturing events for the University of Nottingham Gospel Choir, several birthdays, solo portraits, and, most proudly, multiple weddings.
I’ve also collaborated with talented local artists such as Hil the Poet, Davina Songbird, and Freddie Kofi, as well as organisations like the New Art Exchange, working across photography, videography, and sound engineering.
Every project I take on is an opportunity to tell a story, and I look forward to capturing yours — creating timeless memories together. I'm looking forward to working with you.
